Caroline Marshall is a senior majoring in Strategic Communications and minoring in Marketing. Her interests are in travel writing, brand management, and recruiting.

With the communications and marketing knowledge she as accumulated in the classroom, Caroline put forth her own social media strategies in an online fundraising campaign for her sorority nationally. In this campaign, she implemented a social media takeover with original graphics and interactive content that encouraged donations from alumnae across America. She also enjoys updating her original website with academic blogs throughout the school year and thoughtful essays on the latest social media advertising trends.

Caroline hopes to dive into all of the opportunities her degree will offer, wanting to explore the vast world of communications and achieve an abundant and fast-paced professional life. When she’s not reading travel blogs or studying, she’s probably spending time with her sorority sisters and planning life after graduation.

Why should alumni and friends answer their phones when they receive a call or text from UL Lafayette?

It’s important to stay updated on everything going on at UL Lafayette since we are fast-paced, and open lines of communication with alumni is very important to our university.

How have your conversations with alumni and friends changed your outlook on your own college experience?
